"Out Of Nowhere"

Pianist Dan Sulzberger was joined by two of his old friends from the mid-90s band "Blue Groove", Damon Warner (saxes) and Mike Woods (trumpet), and Pete Waddle (bass) and Andy Dennis (drums).

 

This one off gig allowed each member to select some of the songs, allowing each member to showcase his style, and thus providing an array of titles.

Don Ives' Hot 5

Well-known East coast pianist Don Ives was joined by his son Matthew on drums, Simon Reade on trumpet, Alex Howroyd on reeds and flute and Charles Harris on bass - the young guns from the Conservatorium and the experience of "the ol' man".

 

Great teamwork made this night one to remember.
